Science Fair

Tomorrow's Scientists Explore Today

The Elementary Science Fair is held every year. Grades 1 to 6 participate in this annual event. The purpose of the Fair is to develop and interest in science and to encourage the students to concentrate on a particular area, in order to increase their scientific knowledge. The projects demonstrate almost every branch of science and many exhibit considerable artistic skills.

Art Fair

One of the highlights of the school year is the Annual Art Fair - it represents the culmination of the year's work for all students studying Art, from Grade 1 through to Grade 12.

It is an exciting opportunity for the students, parents and teachers to view the artwork in a large scale exhibition. The wide variety of work on show, from drawing and painting to sculpture, puppetry and model making, displays the interesting range of subjects studied by the students of Art.

Some of the work represents ideas and images from the diverse range of cultures brought together by the students and this always proves to be a valuable learning experience for all.

Students also participate in art activites outside the confines of the classroom whenever possible, getting involved in projects in co-operation with oher schools in Tripoli. This is a wonderful experience for students to interact with others, make new friends and have their artwork displayed in public areas for all to see.

A few of the attractions include facepainting, games, raffles and prizes and everyone's favourite - the internation food stall!

The Bazaar is enjoed by staff and pupils and provides an opportunity to mix socially with people of many different nationalities and the local Libyan community.

Towards the end of every year, the School holds a Fair to raise funds to purchase educational materials and resources for the School.
